Nutty Seed Bread


(Grain-free ~ gluten-free ~ sugar-free ~ dairy-free ~ soy-free!) 

I added pecans and slivered almonds, but you can stick with seeds only if you prefer! I often vary the types of seeds as long as include sunflower seeds to keep it firm and easy to slice.  

1/2 cup raw sunflower seeds
1/2 cup raw pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup pecan pieces
1/2 cup slivered almonds
1/4 cup ground flaxseed 
1/4 cup chia seeds
1/4 cup psyllium husk powder
3/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 cup tahini
1 1/4 cup water


Preheat oven to 375

Line a loaf pan (like you cook banana bread in) with parchment paper. 

Add all the dry ingredients, stir them together. Then add the tahini and water and mix it all in. 

Put the dough in the pan and pat it down flat.

Bake for 50 minutes. Stick a knife in the center

and if it comes out dry's done!

Have it for breakfast with butter and jam, or with a poached egg on top…for lunch topped with avocado, or make a turkey sandwich with it!

Pure protein, fiber and fat!
