10 Blood Sugar Hacks

If you can start incorporating these hacks into your daily routine, you'll surely see a difference in your mental and physical health!

 

  1. Eat food in the right order - vegetables, protein & fat, carbs & sweets.
  2. Add a green starter. I just eat three large romaine lettuce leaves before my meals. Easy peasy!
  3. Stop counting calories.
  4. Flatten your breakfast curve - eat a savory breakfast or sweeten your morning smoothies with a green apple or berries... low glycemic fruits.
  5. Have any type of sugar you like, they're all the same on a molecular level (but I say avoid sugar as much as possible).
  6. Pick dessert over a sweet snack - meaning eat it following a meal instead of an empty stomach.
  7. Reach for vinegar before you eat - 1 Tablespoon of vinegar in a glass of water 10-20 minutes before meals.
  8. After you eat, move - within 90 minutes. Walk around the block!
  9. If you have a snack, go savory - try my savory almonds recipe!
  10. Put some clothes on your carbs - add almond butter or a slice of turkey to your bagel!
